Portfolio Of Work
Oxfam / Poster
2012 I have been volunteering in Oxfam bookstore, Thame since 2011 and was asked to design a poster. So I did... Here it is...
Opus Independents / CD Packaging
2012 To celebrate a hugely successful first years residency at the Riverside in Sheffield, Opus Independents kindly asked me to create some packaging for a 'Best of' CD release of the event. A simple, bold design was adopted here as, lets be honest, sometimes it's best to let the music do the talking.

Peace In The Park / Poster
2011 Peace In The Park is an annual free music and arts festival based in Sheffield set up to raise money for various causes. The 2011 festival was in aid
of Self Help Africa and Mind. There were several proposed versions of this poster in various colours, these two are my personal favorites.
Now Then Magazine / 3rd Birthday Poster
2011 Now Then, Sheffields free local arts and issues magazine, asked me to design a poster for their 3rd birthday bash. These toddlers of the magazine world are punching well above their weight in every way. With exclusive advertising to independent businesses, over 30,000 readers every month and interviews with the likes of Tony Benn under their belts they certainly have a lot to celebrate. www.nowthenmagazine.com

Opus Independents / Opus Acoustics Posters
2011 Opus Acoustics is an evening set up by Opus Independents at The Riverside Bar in Sheffield. Featuring the very best in local acoustic acts and spoken word. Take a look at the wine and cheese board offer. Facebook search 'Opus Acoustics' for more information.

Private Client / One-off book
2011 A friend of mine asked me to layout six months worh of Facebook messages so they could be cherished for eternity in a book format. Over the following couple weeks this book grew into a 200 page monster. After printing, it was sent to a binders where they and the client made some excellent choices as to how the book should be finished.
Now Then Magazine / Selection Of Adverts
2011 A selection of adverts designed for Now Then magazine based in Sheffield. I have designed adverts for a large variety of clients, from bars and clubs to property companies.www.nowthenmagazine.com
Agent Buzz / Record Packaging
2010 A local band from the Oxford area, Agent Buzz are currently busy writing material for their first album which, when recorded and released, will be looking lovely tucked up in all this packaging. This design uses a lot of black and has a skull on it, so you would imagine that they don't write songs about skipping in the park and feeding ducks. We can only wait for the new material to be written...
Frooly.com / Product and services booklet
2010 Opus Independents kindly asked me to design a booklet for Frooly, an online marketplace supporting local independent companies in Sheffield. We only had four days from conception to completion for the first issue, so it was a great team effort from Opus and Frooly to gather all the information and imagery for me to splice together.

Charles Bravo Management / Identity
2010 Charles Bravo Management is a young property management company based in North London. They needed an identity that looked clean and vibrant to stand out in a highly competitive market.
If you live in London, in need of property management, good service and great looking paperwork then give Charles Bravo a call.

Koresh / Record Packaging
2010 Koresh are a noise group inspired by bands such a Melt Banana and Melvins. I wanted to create an elegant cover design that still had a home-made 'punk' look to it. It was inspired, a little, by Blue Note record cover designs by Reid Miles... Nothing wrong with that.
The Molotovs / Poster
2009 Rock Feedback Magazine once described The Molotovs as "'sheer adrenaline and spot-on harmonics... menacing drums into bed with frantic pianos and crawling vocals which express a passion for songmanship so infrequently seen you wonder how these guys were inspired by anything other than the greatest bands in history." Which is nice...
I have seen these guys several times now and every show has been all of the above plus ear-splitting volume. Definitely worth checking out!

Moths / CD Packaging
2010 Atmospheric blues/folk inspired by John Martyn and James Blood Ulmer. Influenced by the bands lyrics and sound I created a cover with texture, depth and rich colour.
Opus Creations / Identity
2007 Formally known as Opus Creations, Opus Independents is a Sheffield-based not-for-profit social enterprise which publishes a monthly magazine called Now Then, operates a promotions distribution and postering service and runs a variety of live spoken word and music events.
If you ever find yourself in Sheffield look out for these guys. I have attended many an Opus event and each time have been blown away by the quality of the acts they put on. Well worth a visit if you find yourself in the area.

Opus Creations / Poster
2007 One of a series of posters and flyers I designed for Opus Independents back when they were known as Opus Creations. I was inspired by poster design from the 1800s as this style can handle the huge amount of information required. The designs also helped them stand out from the thousands of other events posters and flyers flooding the streets of Sheffield every week.© 2010 Feedbacker Design
